Artist Statement Art created to make you smile

Drawing and painting has always been part of my life. I now work as an artist and teacher of arts in a small town in Germany (After spending a decade in Cologne, and some years in Great Britain). I love walking and gardening, this is when stories and images come into my mind.....little goblins behind a tree, a dragon made out of clouds...... I love writing as well and for some reason I write quite a lot in English, which is a foreign language to me, but a very beautiful and creative one.
