Artist Statement I am a mostly self-taught artist working mainly in oils. I do some work in acrylics at times and I love pottery whether it's hand building or throwing on the wheel. Art is very therapeutic for me. It can be better than a therapist, though at times just as expensive!! What ever you see comes from my head. I usually don't sketch out my ideas, they just flow from the brush onto the canvas. That's the way I like it. I don't like to be confined to any one expectation in my paintings so if something isn't working, I just change it. I love to paint landscapes, but occasionally will delve into something completely off the wall. I am available for commissioned pieces, so if interested, contact me!
