Description I was leaving the village of Red Rock, Ontario when the train crossing signals activated. I quickly grabbed my camera and rolled down the window in hopes of getting a usable shot or two. I quickly fired off a series of shots as this Canadian Pacific mixed load train went by at full speed. When I got them uploaded onto my computer, found that once I had cropped this down to an appropriate size, this picture turned out amazing!
Matthew Woodall, Thunder Bay, Ontario Member Since February 2009 Artist Statement I'm a full-time regional Youth Minister with the United Church of Canada, as well as a volunteer firefighter and first responder. Living in North-Western Ontario, and traveling for my job gives me lots of opportunities to take some really fantastic pictures, and see a lot of things that I might otherwise miss. I'm currently doing a lot of landscapes, but watch for some portrait and urban work to be coming soon!
