Artist Statement Lori DeLeonardis-Aman is an elementary art teacher. She created the Zachary Bear® character in 1982 on a trip to the Adirondack Mountains in New York State. She was trained in oils at an early age. Lori is an elementary art teacher and creates her current artwork in a variety of mixed media.

Lori's first gallery at imagekind show you the diversity of her work. In addition to her Zachary Bear® character you will find tranquil scenes from the Adirondacks, bright and fun acrylics and folk art in the style of German Lantern slides.
