Description Digital painting created by Second Glance Digital Art. Two photos are merged together to create a vision of Jesus in the center of our Milky Way. Its a dusty place. So dusty, in fact, that we cannot see the center of the galaxy in visible light. But when NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope set its infrared eyes on the galactic center, it captured this spectacular view. The image highlights the region's exceptionally bright and dusty clouds, lit up by young massive stars. *Photo credit: This design was possible in part thanks to the images taken and allowed for me to use by NASAs Hubble Space Telescope. LeAnn Lunzer, St. Paul, Mn Member Since April 2013 Artist Statement I have lived, worked and visited many cities and states in America and have found beauty in every corner of our country. I enjoy the simple things, and feel closer to God when I take time to appreciate the details. I have dabbled in just about every medium I can think of and have always considered myself an artist since I first picked up a crayon. I really enjoy photographing nature and then transforming those photos into digital paintings with my computer.
I have sold my art and crafts at boutiques and craft shows around the state. I hope my art will inspire you to stop and take a second glance at the beauty that surrounds us; all the colors, shapes and variety of life that is right outside our door if we just stop for a moment to look for it.
