Artist Statement The subtle world has always fascinated me. Early in my twenties the martial arts siezed me, took me onto a path that has changed my life. Soon after my initial training I learned the meridian work called shiatsu therapy, and as a further development of this study embarked on the practice of aikido. Through the study and practice of Ki (universal energy) and various healing modalities, the need to create finished work emerged through me. "Celtic Elements" is a ten year process that began with the awareness of each element as it lives in the natural world and through our bodies. I invite you to study the elements for yourself. Determine what is true for you and what will lead you deeper into the inner universe of our human existance. This work is a tool, a springboard into a larger awareness of connectivity among all people. Make it yours.
