Artist Statement Canadian Israeli currently living in the northern resort city of Naharia. David is very interested and dedicated to the mystical teachings of Judaism. This includes the Arizal's teaching of the kabbalah as well as Rabbi Nachman's teaching of Hasidut. David has always been occupied in some artistic endevour, whether it be short animation, children's books, or painting. Recently, David has been focusing on visually representing some of the deep concepts of Hasidut that so inspires him. He mixes an exploration of deep spiritual meaning with a playful and childlike visual style.
