Artist Statement Carla Marino was born in Finale Ligure marina in 1952.She currently lives and works in San Lorenzo Al Mare.She has loved drawing and painting since she was a child.She attended the "Liceo" (Italian Secondary School)specialised in art subjects in Savona,then specialised in figurative arts in an Art Institute in Torino.Her first one-woman exhibition was prepared in 1969 in Noli and on that occasion critics said that Carla Marino's works reminded Goya's painting style.
The exhibited painting showed mainly faces and figures.
Marino is member of important Academies.Exhibitions and prizes in the most important international cities:Venezia,Roma,Taormina,Firenze,Portofino,Genova,
Cannes,Montecarlo,Parigi,Corfù,Barcellona,Copenaghen,
