Artist Statement I have been happily painting most of my life. I am a self taught artist who loves to try just about anything although I still find I have my own distinctive style. I love to paint just about anything but I find my love to be trees and flowers. Bold and bright are how most of my works turn out even when I try to paint neutral, it just seems to happen on its own. I live in the wonderful state of Indiana although I grew up in Illinois. Now in Indiana I live on a small farm where I am surrounded by beauty everyday which allows my mind to wonder to the next big idea I have to paint. I consider myself a modern impressionistic artist in a Peggy sort of way. Thank you for entering into my idea of art.
