Artist Statement I was born in Durham City in the North East of England, under the shadows of the imposing Norman Cathedral and its surrounding countryside.
This is where my love of photography came from as I enjoy photographing everything I see.....!!

Vintage cameras have always fascinated me so I started using them in my photography.

My 'Go-to' cameras are usually box cameras made by Ensign (Box Ensign 2 1/4 B) and occasionally Kodak (Box Brownies) and they date from around 1910 - 1930.

I strongly believe that you don't have to have the latest, most expensive digital camera in order to take a good photo.

As long as film is available and the vintage camera works, I will continue to use and promote them where possible..

They are so simple and easy to use anyone can use them !!
