Artist Statement At the age of 7 an award winning artist identified a gift in Autumn Black. From logos to wedding invitations, to infant portraits, Autumn develops masterpieces having been trained only by passion and life’s “seasons”.

Autumn Black is a painter, graphic designer, sketch artist and corporate image mapping specialist. Her art hangs in the McVicar Heath Services Building in Atlanta Georgia and is the recipient of the Mary McLeod Bethune and Claude McKay artistic excellence awards. She also the red-ribbon winner of a juried exhibit at the Cape Cod Museum of Fine Art.

Autumn earned a master of arts degree from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development and the Stern School of Business. She obtained her bachelor of arts in psychology from Spelman College and has studied at Stanford University and Harvard. She resides in New York City.
