Artist Statement I began my love of art at the age of ten. When I didn’t know what to buy my grandmother for her birthday present. I decided to make her a birthday card using construction paper, yarn and paint. After seeing how my grandmother was almost in tears. I decided I wanted to be an artist.

My style art varies consists of men, women and children, historical, and international themes. My medium of choice is soft pastels. I began my study of Art at Prince George Community College, located in Largo, Maryland, were I received my Associates of Arts degree in (Studio Art) in 1985. I attended the University of Maryland (Baltimore, M.D.) to study (Film/Video), receiving a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in 1987.
