Description Al my Still life I have painted directly from nature without using any photos. I like to paint as much accurate as is possible. That is why it took me over 50 hours to finished it.This is oil on canvas where first of all I prepared a special background according to Luis Melendez recipe ( lived 1716 - 1780 ). It is very important for me to have this kind or background because it let me paint with great precision using first egg temper and then finishing with oil technique. Initially I draw precisely the whole subject by pencil on a separate sheet of paper and then I transfer it onto canvas using pastel.I like Dutch and Flemish paintings , I like this kind of precision where every detail is done as much as possible.

Artist Statement I am a Polish artist who has been living in the South of England for four years.
Before that I lived in Poland ( Krakow ) where I had my own art gallery. I was graduate in the field of art in The Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw ( Poland ) in 1981.
As an owner of my art gallery I organized several exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Apart of this, I ran a small screen studio and used to work as a freelance designer. In Poland I didn’t paint as much as I was involved and busy in various fields of artistic life.
But here, in England I devote my time at the moment to painting just now mainly “Still Life” work.


I am passionate about my work and very accurate in my representation. I build every picture very slowly to capture every detail, every nuance of nature.
I am very fascinated by Dutch art which is my favorite art.

I paint mainly in oil on canvases or on boards and frame all my artworks by myself.
