Artist Statement Live in a wetlands (swamp to my husband) at the mouth of a river that pours into Lake Superior. Wildlife abound here. Eagles soar overhead daily. The deer look in the window waiting for treats. Over the years, I have found it difficult to live too many miles from the water.
