Artist Statement University educated in marketing and design, I have been painting for most of my life and owned an advertising and design agency in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than thirty years. I sold my first work at age fourteen and painted in water color and acrylic as an avocation during my working career. Since retirement, I have returned to painting the people and places I have encountered over the years.
