Artist Statement I was born and raised in the wilderness and beauty of Northern British Columbia. I love nature and I believe that it, in itself, is a reflection of the beauty, power and glory of God right here on earth. The incorperation of the wonder of nature, the elements and prophetic visuals are the basis and inspiration for most of my paintings. God is with us here on earth, nature proves this to be true. I love to portray God in us and around us, In and around the people that I paint, no matter what state they are in, up to the heavens or crushed beneath the earth. God is real and alive no matter what state we find ourselves in. My paintings bring hope for the victories in this life, and the strength and courage to persevere through the sadness, sickness and suffering. We are human but God is with us, no matter what.
