Description Brilliant morning color over the Teton Mountains from the west. This pic was taken 2/17/07 at about 7:00 a.m. I used a Nikon D2x set to autobracket 7 shots at 1.0 e.v. steps. Aperture priority f20 with a Nikor 18-200VR lens. The images were combined and tonemapped with Photomatix. Two of the individual shots were blurred (it was so cold my shutter finger was shaking!) so I threw them out and ended up combining 5 images of the 7xp set. I didn't do much of anything else since the scene was so naturally intense.
