Description TAROT CARD INSPIRED DESIGN BY LIZ LOZThis card explores some very frightening things, things we are taught to view as evil or shameful. Like earthy materialism, sexual desire, valuables, food, or drugs. Lack of control, excess, obsession and raw ambition. At its absolute worst, this is either the addict or the stalker, totally obsessed, enslaved. At its best, this is a card about giving into impulse, cutting lose, going for the gold, climbing every mountain. Among all the cards, this is one of the most complex; interestingly because no other card is so one-sided. Most cards urge balance, unity, restraint, yin-yang. Not this card. Completely tilted toward the masculine, it is a card that revels in extremity. There is a convincing argument that this is the most powerful and dangerous card in the deck. Magically speaking, it is the one card in the deck that holds the secret of how to escape the material and temporal bonds of Earth. It is a very potent and fascinating card.

Recognizing that the selected profession was a very demanding, high stress level atmosphere, and surrounded by human hardship; steered to find an outlet. This was how creativity and talent within were revealed. Allowing the expression of a deep appreciation for the collection of elements that ultimately assembles the lining that makes us individuals while being part of a community and society as a whole. Was introduced to oils and pastels by a College professor who studied under the master Olga Albizu, BA and was herself a student of the famous abstract painter Hans Hoffman. Participated of a variety of art demonstrations and art workshops, but it is fair to say, it has been mostly freelancing and self-taught. Channeling the ability to understand color, shapes and style in as many ways as possible, It lead to work as a merchandiser, for photographers arranging backgrounds for marketing efforts, aspiring local art galleries as well as consulting for well established art galleries, road exhibitions and retail stores. In 2003 had the great opportunity to be a key part of an antique and collectibles retail store in Hallandale, Florida, rapidly expanding and opened a vintage fashion boutique at a local mall in Hollywood, Florida. And created and managed two fairly successful electronic stores. After an assessment of the consumer’s trend developed a small studio where vintage Levi’s denim jeans and jackets where customized and hand painted creations were exhibited and sold. My work is a constant practice of insight and eagerness to leave an expressive mark.
