Artist Statement I have been characterized as a uniquely diverse individual. At a young age I was able to procure a love for the arts through exciting and exceptional circumstances. I love closing my eyes as me and seconds later put myself in an entirely new place. I have put that to work using my body as a vehicle through performance, voice, words, and visual art. I have discovered the wonderous world of color and shadow conveying so much emotion on paper and canvas similar to that shown in a person's eyes or voice. I have led an interesting life, and I wish to tell my story through my artwork. Music has pulsed through my veins and lived vibrantly in every beat of my heart since I was a toddler, and has been the inspiration for much of my imagination and vision as an artist of several trades. For my entire life, I have found solitude and comfort only when I was able to use my artwork and voice to express my deep rooted desire to experience every aspect of life, even if that meant imagining a reality where I was able to save myself from becoming lost. I most certainly owe my life to my art and have vowed to stay true to it through a relatively recent series of events which have made me stronger and more ready than ever to become the artist I know which exists in my soul. I ask you to join me in discovering my story and my own heart as I entrust my hands to tear down the walls I have built and enable me to grow in so many ways still unbeknownst to me.
