Description The mountain range in Ojai, CA clearly shows the outline of an Indian Chief lying across the range. Local lore has it that Indians of this region considered this range to be sacred.
Bob Wynne, No. Hollywood, CA Member Since May 2007 Artist Statement I've always had a camera with me and now with digital it's bombs away and I'm loving it. To shoot photos I love and then enhance them with Photoshop is a passion of mine that I love doing. I've been allover the board with subject matter but I go with what stimulates me at the time. To me it's always been about first and foremost, the subject matter, and then color, light and shadows. When I can make it really catch my eye, then I know I've got the result I am looking for. I have a passion for nature and landscapes but I also go with whatever catches my eye at the time. Subject matter comes alive to me at the most simple time...mostly when I'm not expecting it. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it.
In addition to my PhotoArt I am a painter working in oil and acrylic. My work is a bridge between Impressionistic and Realistic. I was raised in a small town in Bucks County, PA on the East side of the state. The quaint life and rural areas of Bucks are reflective of a lot of my work. My paintings will cover the outdoors as well as people and figures. I have recently returned back to my first love in the studio...oil. Having worked for many years in acrylic, I am now back to oil because of richness and depth of color. I hope you enjoy my work.
