Description Queen Elizabeth I, from a portrait by Quentin Metsys the Younger in 1593, painted by C. David Claudon. She carries a sieve, the symbol of chastity and purity.
C. David Claudon, Oak Park Member Since March 2009 Artist Statement Having trained in theatre (with an MA from the University of Illinois), I spent many years as a high school drama director. That interest, along an interest in social history and costuming, led me to begin creating costume plates and paper dolls.
For over 10 years I have created digital art. I currently work with Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Corel Painter IX.
