Description I captured this scene whilst exploring the Namib Desert, Namibia. As well as the contrast of the white salt flat and the rolling golden sand dunes, it was the tree that particularly caught my eye. Despite the aird and desolate conditions of its surroundings, the tree was standing tall in all its glory, thriving in the unforgiving desert. I stood there and admired mother nature and the trees strength, determination and endurance, and I thought to myself 'We could all learn a little something from the tree that flourishes in the desert'.
