Artist Statement Self taught artist resides in Lisbon, Portugal.
Started as a kid drawing favorite superheroes from the Saturday Morning Cartoons and the cool Universal Monsters from the Friday Night Late Shows in the mid '60's in Toronto, Canada.
First paying 9 to 5 job in the early '80's was for a company specialized in classic decorative furniture. For a couple of years I painted traditional landscapes in Louis XV and Ming Dynasty flavor with oil directly on the furniture.
Advertising came next, but... nope.
Went back to illustration with the aid of this really cool new thing to me called Airbrush. And that turned me in a role as a free-lancer.
Then of course came Digital...
But I still start off all of my projects with pencil and paper on my good old Drawing table.
