Description This mixed media painting has one of my favorite subjects scattered through it....the buffalo. Those small buffalo represent pure emotion. The buffalo were almost forced to extinction, the same can be said about a person in their life. Every one of us starts out with pure, raw vision and emotion and if we don't be careful the world and our experiences can render that purity extinct. Fight to remain pure and don't let 'you' become extinct.

Artist Statement I live and breathe my art in the Seattle area...I am constantly working and flowing. My work is my life, I put ever aspect of my surroundings into it. I make my work as personal and raw as I possibly can. I use everything in front of me and will not limit myself to one style or one medium, I work hard to keep everything new and never stagnant. I believe in the bright, beautiful life that I have been given and I love the amazing journey in this life. I show very frequently in the Seattle area, I am part of a studio share at the 619 Western Building in Pioneer Square. We open the studio for the first Thursday artwalk every month....stop by, I am on the 4th floor in the Sopia room. I have also had group and solo shows at KULTURE LAB, Artifakt, GalleryOK, Bluebottle Gallery, Crocodile Cafe, Essential Bakery Cafe, Gallery 124 at Last Supper Club, Glo's Cafe, Aurafice Cafe, Stuff Studio, Kent Arts Commission Gallery, Burien Arts Gallery and Burien City Hall.
