Description UNT reports an exciting new discovery: A baby albino squirrel living on campus. It's the third such pigment-challenged rodent found there since 2000. Thelonius came first, then vanished in 2003. Baby arrived in 2004 but was killed by a hawk last August.Even in death, the squirrels have gained quite a following. UNT has an Albino Squirrel Preservation Society (yes, there are more). Just last month, UNT honored Baby with an art display and new white-chocolate coffee drink, called the Albino Squirrel. The animal is UNT's unofficial mascot and good-luck charm, thought to help students on exams. This new discovery comes just in time finals start next week.May 3, 2007The Dallas Morning News
