Description Timeless Caterpillar Fractal Art Created 3-3-2010 By Dana Haynes Musician & Artisian Fan Dedication to: Jefferson Airplane White Rabbit Walt Disney Caterpillar Scene Lewis Carroll Author -- Alice In Wonderland
Alice In Wonderland was the first full book I read on my own. I obviously loved it, an when Disney did thier version it inspired me as well, but in a different way. At the time, we lived out on a rural farm, in the middle of no where. My only source on entertainment was books, delivered once a month. I would promtly sit down, with it. Read it. Then draw all the images in the book until the next one arrived practicing over & over. You could say, Walt taught me to draw. When Jefferson Airplane came out with the song, I was probably still a pup when I first heard it, but feed your head became a way of life. Later in my teens, that took a dramtic twist. But hey, it was the 70s-80s. The rabbit has come to symbolise for me many different things over the years. Mainly, what ever I was doing to extremism or obsessivly trying to understand. In my early twenties it was guys, in my fourties it's usually some form of art. The internet has become the rabbit hole. Obviously, worlds upon worlds exist within it ---you can easily loose yourself in--just like Alice. An that's why I prefer a day job ;P
