Artist Statement Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my bio. I've lived in Southern California since I was 5. I purchased my first DSLR camera in June 2008 and I've snapped about 12,000 photos. I'm self-taught which means I rely on those around me and on the internet to teach me better ways to make my photographs stand out. I was laid off in January 2010 and have been unemployed for 11 months but I can't complain because we live in a rich country that provides us with unemployment insurance and with the support of my parents letting me stay at their house until a better situation comes my way I am blessed by God to have the things I need. I own a Nikon D80 with an 18-200mm VR Lens and SB800 speed light. Nothing too fancy but it gets the job done. Growing up I've always wanted to take pictures and it wasn't until 2008 at the age of 39 that I was able to purchase a really nice NIkon that has helped me to share my moments with you.
