Artist Statement Thank you for checking out my site. I’m really excited to be posting these images for people like you to see. It has been a long journey for me. After graduating with a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and spending time working as a freelance illustrator, I returned to school earning my MA from Ohio University. At that point teaching art became my job and my own artwork fell to the wayside. That is until now.

I've gotten back into my art using basically the same technique of watercolor and colored pencil to create two distinct styles of work. One set of works has been more painterly creating portraits and scenes of my kids and their friends. The other set are illustrations people have approached me to create of sports montages. The two pictures I have posted were for charity events and there was enough interest that I thought I'd use imagekind as a means for people to purchase prints.
