Artist Statement I am currently a sophmore in highschool. At the moment I inhale photography and exhale graphic design. Mixing the two together has been my oxygen for my entire life. One thing I have learned throughout the life I have lived is that my only true possession is the tool that drives my future, my Canon Rebel XT. When I am asked what my hobbies besides photography and graphic design are, I am stumped. Standing speechless in front of the asker, I simply say, “Nothing.” It is what I have been living with for my entire life. I would never trade it for the world. To know what I want to do with my life at such a young age is a gift. Every time I pick up a camera I feel safe. A man’s best friend is their dog, but a photographer’s best friend is their camera. I am that photographer, and that is my camera.
