Description mixed mediaoriginal 22'x30''Wave Of Destiny' is from the first of two of Vasiles Self portrait trilogy 'Samurai Series'.Today with the Tsunami and Earthquake in Japan I would like to send out the love and healing to all who are effected by this national disaster which is all humanity. If one human souls is suffering we all are. Proceeds for each painting sold from any of my Asian Series work on Imagine kind will go to the relief efforts in Japan.I hope the strength of the symbolism in 'The Wave of Healing' will inspire at least one soul. My Miracle is the ability to create, inspire and connect my ideas and concepts with anybody who views my work. I am fortunate to be blessed with a gift from the light to be able to start with a blank white surface, go deep within and see a vision. I bring it to life in the physical sense with a combination of my body, mind and soul. When I create, I feel like I am not on this earth its like being elevated, being lifted, to another dimension or plateau. People who view my work hopefully will connect with it on many different levels. They will bring their life experiences and perceive, interpret and connect them to it in their own original way, creating a dialogue in their mind.In 'Wave of Destiny' I am going on a cathartic journey to let go of all the negative people, words and feelings presented in life. This was the concept I dealt with in the previous self portrait trilogy of paintings, and particularly in my 'Circle of Truth' painting. 'THeYll be the Lite' continues where that trilogy left off. Now Ive battle the storm and rising as a Samurai. My Samurai garment has factual Japanese symbols for The Seven Heavenly Virtues and the Seven Deadly Sins. Contradictable yes.But after all isnt life??
