Description Imagine the very outer edge of our expanding universe, a place that is full of mystery, where new stars and nebulae are being woven, adding to the never-ending beauty of space. It is both knowledge and imagination that allows me to take fractals into the realm of illusion and weave the very fabric of space. Our imagination is perhaps the quintessential element that allows us to learn and to grow in life. Through it we become curious and open our minds to new possibilities. It is what allows us the levels of ingenuity that mankind so often achieves. This is the purpose of my art, not to just be a piece of eye candy for your wall but to inspire your imagination with a piece of my own.
Randall Klopping, Merced, CA Member Since June 2010 Artist Statement I am a disabled person with multiple disabilities working to build a life for myself. I offer a truly unique style of art, weaving my illusions of the universe with fractals and occasionally a bit of digital painting. I hope that my work will find a home on your wall and inspire your imagination.
I apologize that I cannot respond to all peoples comments but with this economy I have not been able to earn much from my art and now the friend who was able to help me over the years is unemployed and I will no longer have internet access. I will try to find a way to once a month or so to use the library's computers to read your comments, but I can't sit or stand for long periods so won't be able to respond much. I like hearing what others think. The cuts that California have done to disabled people's benefits have left me at a point where I can no longer work to try to market my work, so any help people can give letting others know about it so that perhaps I can still earn some money from the works I've gotten up here.
