Artist Statement My name is Ryan French and I have been a digital artist for just over three years. Before travelling this path I was an avid oil painter and most of my artwork at that time was based around capturing the natural world in all its beauty, especially the relationship between our atmosphere and the earth itself.

Since moving to the digital domain I have expanded my horizons to include off planet worlds, intricate abstract and fractal designs, and more robust nature landscapes. I currently have a huge fascination with modelling architecture and my goals as an artist are to forever expand both my skills and imagination.

With every new work of art I attempt to open a doorway and provide a window to another world for everyone to see. The universe is a vast, beautiful place and I wish to share my visions of it with anyone who wants to open their mind to it.

We are all on a journey somewhere. Everything that makes up our natural world, the universe and ourselves is connected in some way.

Through my artwork I wish to convey feelings of peace, feelings of excitement and feelings of wonder. I love using vibrant colors because they inspire within me, that powerful feeling of being alive.

Everything I create is an extension of myself in some small way, but even more than that, it is an extension of everything in existence.

One of my designs (Alien Sunset), was featured on several episodes of the CBS hit TV series "Numbers". I have had various other designs used in both print and electronic media.
