Artist Statement Ever since I was a little kid I enjoyed taking photos. My first camera was a a blue Kodak 110 film pocket camera. I took pictures everywhere around home and on trips and read everything I could to perfect my new craft. I eventually upgraded to 35mm point and shoot, then digital point and shoot.

The day came when I bought my first dslr. After reading about Ansel Adams I became greatly inspired and influenced by him. Landscape photography has always felt comfortable and enjoyable to me. There is something very rewarding about capturing the energy in a scene that to this day never gets old. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
