Artist Statement I am a classically trained artist with a Masters degree from Sam Houston State University. I have always loved art and I began oil painting at age twelve. I love bright colors and beautiful scenes. I hope my works will bring joy and pleasure to my patrons and fellow art collectors. I enjoy the playfulness of light bouncing off wonderful surfaces bringing delight to my soul. My art never strays too far from the female figure because to me that is the true fountain of life, joy, and pleasure.
Art is the product of creative spirits known as artist, These individuals have to create to live. Art has to be beautiful, has to enrich, enhance life, and must positively stimulate the viewers senses. Otherwise it's not Art.!!!!!!!!!!!!
