Artist Statement I am a creative homebody ~ there's no place where I am as happy and content. While being home, I enjoy being productive inside and out. Most of the photographs I've captured were taken when I've been working in our gardens/yards to grow flowers and vegetables, doing landscaping projects and creating a backyard habitat for many of the precious creatures I've been able to photograph. I do enjoy travel (also an inspiration for another gallery) as long as it's for an abbreviated time and there's a promise of museums, art and history to be absorbed. Finally, my heart is full when I am with my family. My husband of 30+ years is my rock and soul mate. Together, we have the sweetest little Corgi (enter another gallery!) that is a complete joy and fills the void that our "empty" nest once had.
