Description While on vacation, we took a boat ride drug a net behind us. When time came, we pulled the catch in for the day, checked it out, played with it and then started throwing it back into the water. This attracted the birds and from then on we were entertained by watching the birds try to recatch our catch of the day. The kids loved it!
Penny Pausch, Jonesboro Member Since February 2012 Artist Statement I grew up way back in the hills of Missouri (U.S.). I was a country girl and loved every moment of it. My sister and I did not have many toys and so we played outside on trees and other things in the woods and learned to use our imagination. This has become an asset to me. I knew by the 5th grade that I wanted to be an artist more than anything else. I like to paint, sew, minipulate objects so that they are interesting, cook, and write poetry. One of my goals is to write a poetry book and illustrate it. I recently have gone back to college after 17 years of raising my children.
