Description This photo was taken from Kerry Park on the south side of Queen Anne Hill. The metal sculpture creates an idyllic geometric framing of two of the Pacific Northwest's most recognizable images, The Space Needle and Mount Ranier. I think everyone who visits Seattle comes to Kerry Park for this spectacular view because it captures why we live here - the mountains, the water and the city!
Howard Goldstein, Seattle Member Since February 2008 Artist Statement Howard Goldstein has lived in Seattle since 1991 after falling in love with the natural beauty of the Northwest. Five years ago he began taking long urban hikes and bike rides around Seattle with his camera in search of solace from the stress and chaos of life. His beautiful photographs are the result of a passionate man slowing down to enjoy the flowers on his path. What you see are precious moments in time reflecting Howard's Jewish light in the world. He considers it an honor to share them with you and hopes you are equally inspired to slow down and enjoy the flowers in your world.
