Description We took the Te Paki Trail southeast from the Tapotupotu Camping area. After climbing about 1200 feet we were greeted with this view when we looked back toward the camping area. You can no longer see the camping area, but you can see the trail running along the spline of the cliff in the foreground, with the cliffs that protect the beach of the Tapotupotu Camping area in the background and the beautiful Pacific Ocean on the right hand side of the picture frame. The rain would come and go all day, but the clouds would offer frequent enough break.
Jefferson Tweed Member Since February 2018 Artist Statement My wife and I love to travel and never really had a way to bring back great memories of our travel experiences. We are not really ones to collect physical things from the places we go as we enjoy being in the moment more than spending our time shopping for something remember our moments.
This lead me to start capturing images of the places we travel. Recent places included places within the US and abroad. I hope you enjoy some of the images and they either spark your imagination or help you recall a place you have traveled. Even better I hope it inspires you to go and explore the world.
