I have been creating art all of my life. I was born in the city and grew up in the country. I learned as a child how to grow vegetables, pick berries for pie, and how to make quilts for the winter. I learned the pleasure of creating. I currently live in Chicago and work as an art therapist and special educator in the public schools. I enjoy painting pictures that tell stories. As an art therapist, I believe in the power of art to create change and the magic of the process.
